Event Associate

1. Manage all aspects of event planning meeting strict deadlines and budget demands

2. Nurture and build relationships with vendors, venues, and other industry contacts to craft and implement creative and logistical aspects of all events

3. Stay current, and often ahead of the curve, on event planning, design, and production trends, proactively identifying and solving operational challenges

4. Research resources, make site visits and lead pre-event meetings when necessary to help staff make decisions about event design

5. Maintain and build a comprehensive database of industry contacts, vendors, and venues

6. Troubleshoot and handle any issues that arise on the event day

7. Assess an event's overall success and submit findings

8. Ensure confirmed availability plus convey tentative itinerary to the respective traveler for approval

9. Resolve organization travel-related technical conflicts

10. Conduct pre and post-event evaluations and report on outcomes

Requirements:

1. Proven experience as an event coordinator

2. A proven track record of organizing successful events

3. Proficient in MS Office

4. Excellent vendor management skills

5. Knowledge of basic recruitment practices

6. Outstanding communication and negotiation ability

7. Well-organized with multi-tasking skills
