English Teachers are responsible for teaching English language and literature concepts to students, developing their reading, writing, and critical thinking skills.
They also design and implement lesson plans, assess student performance and provide feedback to improve their English proficiency.

- Preparing comprehensive lesson plans on English grammar, literature, writing, and reading
- Delivering engaging, coherent lectures to students on English language and literature
- Testing students’ proficiency in English through exercises, assignments and exams
- Providing feedback on students’ progress and areas of improvement
- Encouraging active participation and monitoring individual student performance
- Helping students improve their listening, speaking, reading and writing skills via individual and group sessions
- Identifying varying teaching methods that work best for students who learn differently
- Developing and organizing teaching materials
- Meeting with parents or guardians to discuss their child’s progress
