English Language Teacher/Director of Studies

Job Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated English Language Teacher to join our educational team in the role of Director of Studies. The ideal candidate will lead their small team of teachers in inspiring students to develop their language skills and foster a love of communication.

Duties

Lead the delivery of the set English curriculum ensuring a wide range of teaching and learning styles are used to fully engage our students
Teach English language skills, including reading, writing, speaking, and listening using the course provided and a wide range of teaching and leaning strategies
Assess and evaluate student performance through set assignments and tests providing constructive feedback to encourage improvement.
Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes student engagement and collaboration.
Communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues regarding student progress and any concerns that may arise.
Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching practices and stay updated on educational trends.
Experience

A degree in English, Education, or a related field is essential.
Teaching qualification e.g. DELTA, QTS, PGCE, Master's degree in relevant subject
3 years experience
Strong communication skills with the ability to engage students effectively.
Proficiency in using technology for teaching purposes is advantageous.
