Position Overview:
We’re looking for energetic and creative ESL teachers to join our 2025 summer team! If you’re passionate about teaching, love working with youth and children, and enjoy field trips and themed activities, this is the opportunity for you.
Key Responsibilities:
Plan and deliver engaging, level-appropriate ESL lessons for international students aged 8–17
Differentiate lessons to suit beginner to intermediate English levels
Collaborate with fellow staff and lead weekly excursions around Toronto
Supervise students during activities and ensure a safe, inclusive classroom environment
Participate in daily team meetings and contribute ideas for lesson improvement and camp programming
Adjust to changes in schedule (e.g., weather-based trip changes) with flexibility and a positive attitude
Complete short reports and assessments at the end of each week
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree (Education, TESOL, or related field preferred)
TESL/TEFL/TESOL certification an asset
Experience teaching ESL to children or teens
Strong classroom management and organizational skills
Enthusiastic, adaptable, and team-oriented
Comfortable communicating with students with limited English

End date: August 8, 2025
Job Types: Full-time, Seasonal
Contract length: 3 weeks
Pay: $20.00-$25.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
