Duties

Manage the daily activities of the nursery, ensuring a safe and engaging environment for all children.
Plan and implement age-appropriate educational programmes that promote learning through play.
Communicate effectively with children, parents, and colleagues to foster strong relationships and support children's development.
Observe and assess children's progress, providing feedback to parents and adapting activities to meet individual needs.
Lead by example, demonstrating best practices in childcare and early education.
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, safeguarding policies, and nursery standards.
Drive initiatives that enhance the nursery experience for both children and families.
Requirements

Qualified Early Years Teacher essential.
Previous experience working with children in a nursery or childcare setting is highly desirable.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage a team effectively.
Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
A genuine passion for early years education and child development.
