Role Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and passionate DP Political Science Facilitator to join our IB Diploma Programme faculty. The ideal candidate will demonstrate deep subject knowledge, strong pedagogical skills, and the ability to foster critical thinking, global awareness, and independent inquiry among students.
Key Responsibilities:
Plan and deliver engaging and inquiry-based lessons in DP Political Science, following IB standards and assessment criteria.
Encourage critical analysis, open-mindedness, and ethical understanding through active class discussions and student-led research.
Design and evaluate internal assessments (IAs) and guide students through the Extended Essay process when applicable.
Prepare students for external IB examinations, including developing strategies for Paper 1 and Paper 2.
Maintain accurate student records, progress reports, and portfolios.
Collaborate with the DP Coordinator and fellow faculty to align interdisciplinary teaching and learning practices.
Participate in school events, CAS activities, and parent-teacher meetings as required.
Stay updated with IB curriculum changes, participate in relevant workshops and professional development.
Requirements:
Postgraduate degree in Political Science or a related field.
B.Ed. or equivalent teaching qualification (preferred).
Minimum 2-3 years of experience teaching Political Science at the DP/IGCSE/A-Level or senior secondary level.
Strong understanding of the IB Diploma Programme philosophy, curriculum, and assessment framework.
Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
IB Certification or willingness to undergo IB training (preferred).

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
