Job DescriptionWe are seeking a dynamic, enthusiastic, and committed individual to join our Global Transaction Services (GTS) team in Mumbai, as the Trade and Supply Chain finance Head for India. The primary objective will be lead Trade and Supply Chain Finance business for India and work closely with regional and global teams to conceptualize and implement a strategy for the India trade and supply Chain business towards responsible growth and overall development of capabilities/offering within the applicable regulatory framework.Key ResponsibilitiesOwn the e2e Trade business in India across Client Segments of Local India/Asian Corporate Clients, Global Multinational and Financial Institution Clients.Partnering with local and global GTS Sales and Corporate Banking to grow the Trade & Supply Chain Finance business in India. Strong collaboration with peers in other parts of APAC and other regions (particularly US and EMEA), to ensure that cross-regional opportunities and multi-regional / global opportunities are appropriately managedParticipating in portfolio reviews and client planning sessions to identify and prioritize target clients. Drive client team discussion and strategy for advancing new opportunities. Owning and managing a pipeline of opportunities and working in close co-operation with business partners to maximize mandated/closed deals and ensure revenue ramp-upOwn and drive risk and control for the function, ensuring all activities are managed within the appropriate risk, controls, and regulatory parameters of the bank. Partner with Enterprise Control Functions (Legal, Compliance, GFCC) towards end-to-end risk compliance.Partnering closely with Trade Operations and Technology Teams for seamless trade offerings as well as value added solutions for Trade Services driving cross sell through Liquidity Balances and Foreign Exchange Flow Revenues.Drive Key Product/technology Initiatives and New Programs to meet evolving client needs in line with the Banks Risk FrameworkSupport the complex, specialized trade needs in large MNC/Corp and FI trade finance dealsActively engage in the local marketplace, including industry and peer engagement and demonstrating strong market presence. Represent Trade Business in various Internal forums/ committees in India/ APAC and at the regulatory Forums.Be a SME for the respective market for product solutioning, industry trends, regional expertise, competitive landscape, and major economic/political events. Thought Leadership by leading with Ideas, Represent India Trade in External Client Seminars and IBA/ICC and other industry forumsRequirementsProven & extensive track record in Trade and Supply Chain Finance for at least 10 to 12 years, within the banking industry.Experience in leading teams in a matrix organization.Clear understanding of the core Trade Finance product suite including traditional trade products, supply chain finance, and Trade Services.Thorough understanding and knowledge of Trade Services and Financing regulations in India.Exhibit a breadth of understanding of the business challenges facing the clients, as they relate to Trade & Supply Chain Finance
