Designer / Draftperson

About the Role

Torren Bell Building Design seeks a skilled Designer/Draftperson on a contract basis to provide architectural drafting services for residential and commercial projects.

The role involves:

Producing detailed architectural drawings and 3D models for building projects
Collaborating with architects, engineers, and construction teams to bring design concepts to life
Ensuring all drawings and documentation adhere to relevant building codes and regulations
Providing technical support and advice to contractors clients throughout the design and construction process
Contributing to the development of design standards and templates
Key Requirements:

Relevant tertiary qualification in architecture, building design, or a related field
Minimum 3 years of experience in architectural drafting, preferably within a design or construction firm
Proficient in the use of Archicad and 3D modelling tools
Strong attention to detail and ability to produce high-quality, accurate drawings
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
Effective communication and collaboration skills to liaise with project teams
