Deputy Manager - Marketing
Job Description
• Engage with assigned vendors to understand their business priorities, growth targets, and GTM strategies
• Develop quarterly marketing plans aligned to vendor business objectives and revenue goals
• Identify high-impact marketing initiatives that drive partner engagement, pipeline development, and brand visibility
• Act as the primary marketing advisor to vendors within the Ingram Micro ecosystem
Long Tail Vendor Activation
• Identify potential vendors within the long-tail vendor segment and develop strategic marketing plans to activate them
• Create Digital First, On-boarding strategy for Vendor with Xvantage and GTM Hub tools
• Create structured marketing programs that help smaller vendors scale their reach through the channel ecosystem
• Introduce vendors to Ingram-led marketing initiatives and demand generation programs
MDF Strategy & Management
• Work with vendors to secure and allocate MDF for ROI-driven marketing activities
• Standardize the MDF planning and governance process, especially for vendors who lack internal marketing resources
• Oversee the complete MDF lifecycle including proposal development, budget allocation, activity execution, proof-of-execution (POE), and claim submission
• Ensure compliance with vendor MDF policies and internal governance processes
Ingram-Led Marketing & Digital Campaigns
• Pitch and promote Ingram Micro-led marketing initiatives including digital campaigns, partner programs, and industry engagement platforms
• Enable vendors to leverage Ingram’s digital demand generation programs and integrated campaign frameworks
• Work with digital and campaign teams to ensure vendors benefit from scalable digital marketing execution
Platform Marketing Enablement
• Enable vendors to leverage Ingram Micro’s Xvantage platform and digital marketing capabilities
• Support vendors in activating platform-based marketing initiatives that drive partner engagement and adoption
• Work closely with Platform Marketing and Digital teams to ensure effective execution of vendor campaigns
Reporting & Performance Insights
• Deliver regular performance reporting including vendor growth metrics, campaign impact, and marketing ROI insights
• Provide monthly and quarterly updates to vendor stakeholders and internal leadership teams
• Identify opportunities to improve marketing effectiveness and scale successful programs
About Candidate
• 5–10 years of experience in Channel Marketing, Vendor Marketing, Business Development, or Partner Marketing
• Digital-First attitude, more driven to drive high impact Always ON Digital Campaigns, with sound knowledge of Digital Marketing, Marketing Automation, Digital Tools
• Experience within IT distribution, technology vendors, telecom, or enterprise technology ecosystem preferred. Candidates with agency background may also appy
• Strong understanding of MDF programs, vendor marketing governance, and claim processes
• Proven ability to develop and execute partner marketing programs that drive measurable business impact
• Strong consultative selling and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence vendor marketing investments
• Experience working with cross-functional teams including sales, marketing, and vendor stakeholders
• Strong analytical and reporting capabilities to track marketing effectiveness and vendor performance
• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field
