Delivery Driver

Job Overview:

We are seeking a reliable and skilled Delivery Driver to join our team. As a Delivery Driver, you will play a crucial role in ensuring timely and safe delivery of goods to customers. This position requires a high level of dedication and commitment to customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities:

- Drive a commercial vehicle, such as a box truck or van, to deliver goods to customers across various locations.
- Operate a pallet jack to load and unload products from warehouses and delivery sites.
- Ensure accurate delivery of goods by verifying orders and checking for any discrepancies.
- Provide exceptional customer service by answering questions, addressing concerns, and ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Manage the delivery process by coordinating with dispatchers and other team members.
- Maintain a clean and organized vehicle to ensure safety and compliance with company policies.
- Perform heavy lifting tasks, as necessary, to handle packages and goods.
- Meet and maintain all commercial driving requirements, including obtaining and maintaining a commercial driver's license (CDL).
- Stay informed about traffic and road conditions to ensure timely delivery.

Qualifications:

- Valid CDL with a commercial driving experience.
- Proven experience in driving a commercial vehicle, such as a box truck or van.
- Ability to operate a pallet jack safely and effectively.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Physical ability to perform heavy lifting tasks, as necessary.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing circumstances.
- Familiarity with warehouse operations and delivery processes.
- Must have a clean driving record and pass regular drug and alcohol tests.
