Full job description
The Old Cock Inn is a delightful pub restaurant in the heart of Harpenden, offering guests the added benefit of six boutique bedrooms. We have a stylish and cosy restaurant, a relaxed and informal bar area with a roaring log fire for the colder months, and our lovely terrace garden at the back. We’re what you might call a ‘proper pub’ serving a selection of real ales and craft beers, alongside an extensive wine, gin and spirit list.



Position:
We are looking for talented, motivated and passionate Front of House staff to join our team in delivering an exceptional customer experience and a mouth-watering food offering.


Front of House duties include:


Taking responsibility for the customer journey, ensuring their experience is second to none
Taking accurate orders and working closely with kitchen staff
Ensuring payments and receipts are correct
Confidently recommending menu and drinks offerings
Observing service and standards and reporting any incidents or issues
Being a supportive and proactive team member

Requirements:
Previous experience working front of house in a hospitality or customer facing environment
Enthusiasm and passion for food and beer
The ability to deliver excellent customer service and great team work in a fast paced and pressurised environment
