Job Description
We are an Investment Bank Advisory and we are looking at a profession in the space that has done deal origination and execution across sectors and has worked on transactions on the debt and equity side. He/she should have a strong hold on corporate relationships as well.
Our investment banking division has a successful track record of executing a range of capital raising transactions which have been successfully closed with the help of an experienced team. We have successfully built a reputation in debt syndication of project finance, structured financing transactions, senior and subordinate debt financing and a wide range of private equity deal closures. We have a deep understanding of the banking and institutional lending landscape and enjoy close relationship with global investors. Our wide experience and in-depth knowledge of the local market enable us to provide innovative solutions to diverse needs of clients.
We are looking to hire a Senior resource for our investment banking division who could champion our efforts in originating and executing deals, both debt & equity, focusing on mid-market companies. Ideal candidate will be a successful Investment Banker with proven end-to-end transaction experience and enduring promoter/CFO level relationships.
Scope of Role
1- Deal Origination, structuring, negotiation & execution of transactions across debt financing and venture capital financing.
2- Deep network and established relationships with potential lenders including but not limited to Banks, (Private & PSU), NBFC, Credit Funds, VC funds
3- Understand the full spectrum of the client's financial & capital requirements- both debt & equity and other advisory products
4- Work with the team in preparation of teasers, pitch books, information memorandum, management presentations, financial models and other deal related presentations & notes
5- Acting as a primary relationship interface with corporates & vendors for all equity, debt, corporate finance & structured financial products.
6- Build and maintain Independent & extensive engagement with senior most levels of clients and key decision makers, including Promotors/CEOs/CXOs etc
7- Support on deal diligence; primary research; for instance consumer interviews, market sizing, competitor benchmarking, creation of internal investment memos
8- Strong awareness of market trends and underwriting apetite in order to originate the right kind of transactions

Knowledge & Skills Required
Background of Corporate Finance / Real Estate PE / Private Equity / M&A / Structured Finance Thorough understanding of market dynamics & macro - economic variables
A Self Starter with excellent communication, interpersonal & presentation skills focused on deal origination & end to end closure
Demonstrated initiative & maturity in dealing with assignments & clients
Development & interpretation of financial models & valuation matrices
Strong problem-solving & analytical skills
