Teaching Role at Vision Industries Performing Arts (VIPA)

At VIPA, our teaching roles go beyond just dance instruction. As a teacher, you play a key part in shaping confident, creative, and resilient young individuals through the power of the performing arts.

Key Responsibilities:

Teach engaging, age-appropriate classes in your area of expertise (e.g. jazz, ballet, contemporary, hip hop, tap, or musical theatre)
Foster a supportive, positive, and inclusive classroom environment
Prepare students for performances, exams, and showcases
Communicate clearly and professionally with students, parents, and staff
Contribute to a collaborative team culture that values growth, encouragement, and fun
Be a positive role model, guiding students not just as dancers, but as people
What We’re Looking For:

Passion for teaching and inspiring the next generation
Strong technical ability in your style(s) with a creative approach to class delivery
Reliability, organisation, and a positive attitude
Willingness to follow studio values and contribute to a supportive team environment
Previous teaching experience is preferred, but emerging teachers are also encouraged to apply
Current and up to date Blue-Card

Pay: $30.00 – $55.00 per hour

Expected hours: 2 – 5 per week
