Overview
We are seeking a dedicated, organized, and proactive Remote Leasing Team Manager to oversee our team of leasing agents based in India. This position plays a pivotal role in ensuring that our remote leasing agents are effectively reaching out to prospective tenants, gauging their interest, collecting required documentation, and meeting our overall leasing goals for LIHTC properties in California.
Key Responsibilities
Team Leadership Management
- Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of remote leasing agents, ensuring they maintain high productivity, professionalism, and adherence to company protocols.
- Monitor day-to-day performance, track call metrics, and ensure agents meet individual and team KPIs.
Performance Compliance
- Develop performance benchmarks and accountability structures (daily, weekly, monthly) for the leasing team.
- Ensure that all leasing activities comply with LIHTC regulations and company policies, maintaining accurate documentation and records.
Training Development
- Create and implement ongoing training programs to enhance agents’ knowledge of LIHTC requirements, leasing processes, fair housing rules, and customer service best practices.
- Provide regular coaching, feedback, and professional development opportunities to enhance individual and team capabilities.
Process Optimization
- Streamline and standardize leasing follow-up processes, documentation collection, and communication protocols to improve efficiency.
- Identify and troubleshoot bottlenecks, suggesting technology or process improvements to optimize lead conversion.
Reporting Analytics
- Prepare daily/weekly/monthly status reports that track leads, conversions, pending documentation, and agent performance.
- Present key findings to senior leadership and collaborate on strategies to achieve leasing targets.
Collaboration Communication
- Coordinate with property managers and compliance teams in the United States to address specific tenant inquiries, update leasing requirements, and ensure alignment on occupancy goals.
- Act as the main point of contact for escalations, complex tenant situations, and inter-departmental communication.
Qualifications Requirements
- Educational Background : Bachelor’s degree in Business, Management, Real Estate, or a related field preferred.
- Experience :
- Proven experience managing remote teams, ideally within real estate leasing, property management, or a customer service-related setting.
- Familiarity with LIHTC properties and associated regulations is a strong plus.
- Leadership Skills : Demonstrated ability to inspire, coach, and manage a diverse team remotely.
- Communication : Excellent verbal and written English communication skills; ability to effectively collaborate with U.S.-based teams and convey information clearly to both agents and stakeholders.
- Technical Proficiency : Comfortable using CRM systems, property management software, and collaboration tools (e.g., Zoom, Microsoft Teams, Slack).
- Analytical Mindset : Able to interpret performance metrics, identify trends, and develop data-driven strategies for improvement.
- Organizational Skills : Able to handle multiple tasks, projects, and deadlines efficiently in a fast-paced, remote environment.
- Flexibility : Willingness to adapt to different time zones for meetings and ability to work flexible hours when required.
