PROPOSED CYBER-SECURITY CONSULTANT/ BUSINESS LEADER
Profile
- Candidate with a Global / Regional experience of over 15 ++ years in Cyber Security domain and or IT Security / Job Location is OMAN (Muscat)
- Should have Experience in either Banking & Financial, Government & Defence Sectorsand or other Industrial sectors such as Oil & Gas, Petrochemicals, Retail etc.
- Experience is Forensics, Fraud detection, Third Party risk management, Ethical hacking, Criminal Investigation etc. is desired.
- Candidate must have a blend of advisory flair whilst having an entrepreneurial mindset in driving business growth.
- Strong industry references should be available
Qualifications
- MS / M.Tech in IT or related fields
- CISA and other certifications like
o CISSP
o CISM
o CRISC
o IAPSC’s Certified Security Consultant
o GIAC’s (Global Information Assurance Certification) GPEN certification
o CompTIA Security+
o CISA – Certified Information Security Auditor
o CEH – Certified Ethical Hacker Certification
o
o IACRB’s CPT – Certified Penetration Tester
o IARCB’s CEPT – Certified Expert Penetration Tester
o CompTIA’s PenTest+
o ESCA – EC Council Certified Security Analyst
Experience
- Implementation of end to end IT Security Projects across business domains
- Management of Security Operation Centers( SOC )
- Managed Security Services Provider
- Advisory & Consulting experience inSOC, GRC, IAM, DevSecOps, Data Security, OT Security, and Cloud Security
- IoT , AI / ML industrial Revolution 4.0
- Well versed with GCC / Global regulatory and statutory requirements
Personality
- Research oriented with business acumen
- Financial planning, and strategic management skills
SCOPE OF WORK FOR Consultant / Business Leader:
Phase 1 – Consultant (1 year )
· Working closely with Director and Advisory team whilst acting as a domain expert the consultant will drive the strategic diversification vision in the field of Cyber Security business avenue.
· Shall advise and guide in identifying suitable opportunities in Cyber Security (CS ) business avenue both regionally and internationally.
· Provide key technical and trade inputs to help prepare investment plan for merger / acquisition (Or ) work on existing / ongoing partnership / JV engagements with CScompanies to create a business entity to target GCC markets/international alignments/Oman
· Based on industry developments and trends, consultant shall develop a viable long term business plan for establishment of CS Business .
Phase 2 – Business Leader ( Ongoing )
· Upon successful completion of objectives of Phase 1, Consultant will take up role of Business leader of the newly formed CS business entity
· Create associated co-operation and alliances to enhance scope of business and meet customer expectations extending from training, SOC, and consulting business
· Build effective team and staff for operations across all functions of business entity
· Define SOP’s and design organisational policies in line with market dynamics to ensure effective business decisions and appropriate control.
· Drive the approved business plan and financial budgets to successfully to achieve market leadership and profitability.
