Cost Accountant
About the Role
We are seeking a Cost Accountant to work across the group’s diverse verticals to help establish robust costing systems, project margin tracking, and financial reporting frameworks. This is a foundational finance role that supports leadership in pricing, profitability analysis, and ERP readiness.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and maintain job-wise and vertical-wise cost sheets
- Track material, labor, transport, and overheads per project
- Allocate shared costs across business verticals
- Create standard cost templates and monitor budget vs. actual
- Coordinate with operations and logistics to validate cost data
- Support ERP implementation for costing modules
- Prepare monthly cost reports for leadership
Key Skills & Competencies
- Strong grasp of cost accounting principles
- Experience in project-based or rental-driven businesses
- Advanced Excel and cost reporting skills
- Understanding of logistics, inventory, and shared cost allocation
- Hands-on, self-starter with systems-building mindset
Qualifications & Experience
• CMA (Cost & Management Accountant) preferred
• 3–6 years in cost accounting, preferably in infra, construction, or rentals
• ERP exposure (Tally Prime) is a plus
