Job Title: Corporate Event Manager
We are seeking an experienced Corporate Event Manager to join our team at Marriott International. As a key member of our Workplace Services team, you will be responsible for the overall success of events within our corporate headquarters.
Responsibilities:
• Conduct pre-event meetings to understand group needs
• Establish consistent standards for meeting room sets and VIP meeting room sets
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in all event operation areas
• Act as a single point of contact for the meeting/event planner
• Guide meeting/event planners to find optimal set up configurations
• Project supply and equipment needs for the department
• Solve problems and/or suggest alternatives to previous arrangements
Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree from an accredited university in Hotel and Restaurant Management, Hospitality, Business Administration, or related major
• Minimum 4 years of experience in the event management or related professional area
• Supervisory/management experience
• Proficiency using Microsoft Office, Excel, and Outlook computer programs
Estimated Salary Range: $81,100 - $143,400 per annum
