Job Description
Play a pivotal role in the business, working closely with the operations team to provide commercial and contractual support to the business across all facets of contract administration, ensuring compliance and regulatory requirements are managed while supporting the wider legal team through various ad hoc projects. You will be joining at an exciting time and helping to set up and redefine the internal functions for the business.
Your key responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
Draft, review, and negotiate contracts for the business, including service agreements, supplier and vendor contracts, and non-disclosure agreements.
Identify and mitigate legal risks in all business operations and contracts.
Assist with the implementation and maintenance of the contract management systems and tools.
Oversee and maintain compliance administration, including corporate compliance reports, the corporate register and compliance procedures.
Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, ensuring effective communication and understanding of legal issues in other jurisdictions.
Resolve disputes and negotiate settlements from time to time, with the support of the legal team.
Who we are looking for:
We would like to speak with contract administrators, paralegals or lawyers who are looking to transition away from a traditional legal role. You will have at least 2-3 years of experience working across contracts. You will be a self-driven professional with exceptional communication skills, strong document management abilities, high attention to detail, and a roll-up-your-sleeves attitude.
