About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Construction Manager to lead, plan, and oversee the successful execution of construction projects from inception through completion. The ideal candidate will demonstrate exceptional leadership, technical expertise, and a proactive approach to managing all phases of construction while ensuring compliance with safety, quality, budget, and schedule requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

· Comprehensive expertise in construction processes across diverse disciplines.

· Strong financial management capabilities, including bookkeeping, cash flow control, budget development, forecasting, and cost optimization.

· Proven expertise in contract administration, tender management, and compliance with Australian building contracts, standards, and specifications.

· In-depth understanding of Early Contractor Involvement (ECI) contracts, both Australian and international.

· Advanced ability to interpret and correlate architectural, engineering, plumbing, electrical, and civil drawings and specifications.

· Expertise in special needs specifications, including SDA requirements for NDIS projects.

· Demonstrated ability to establish and maintain strong relationships with subcontractors, clients, vendors, and regulatory authorities.

· Sound and confident decision-making skills with strong negotiation, dispute resolution, and influence capabilities.

· Effective team leadership, with a focus on maximizing team performance and fostering collaboration.

· Commitment to safety by design, with significant experience overseeing HSEQ compliance.

· Experienced in general business management, including project planning, resourcing, and operational oversight.

· Proficient in advanced construction project management software, including Procore, Builder Trend, Co-Construct, ACONEX, MS Project, and others.

· Skilled in developing construction schedules, coordinating site operations, and managing trades, subcontractors, and suppliers.

· Ensure all work meets Australian building codes, WHS regulations, and company policies.

· Conduct site inspections, manage quality control, and implement defect prevention strategies.

· Supervise and support site supervisors, trades, and subcontractors to ensure high-quality project delivery.

· Collaborate with clients, architects, engineers, certifiers, and consultants to resolve technical issues and maintain project continuity.

· Oversee project budgets, cost control, variations, and procurement processes.

· Ensure compliance with contract requirements, approvals, certifications, and reporting obligations.

· Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks and construction challenges.
