Position Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Personal Injury Paralegal to assist our attorneys in managing personal injury cases from inception through resolution. The ideal candidate will have excellent organizational skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced legal environment. Fluency in Spanish is required to effectively serve our diverse client base.
Key Responsibilities:
Draft, review, and manage legal documents such as pleadings, discovery requests, and settlement agreements
Conduct legal research and prepare case summaries
Coordinate communications with clients, medical providers, insurance companies, and expert witnesses
Organize and maintain case files, ensuring all documents are current and compliant with legal standards
Reading and interpreting medical records
Manage calendars, deadlines, and court filings to ensure timely submissions
Communicate with Spanish-speaking clients and partners as needed
Qualifications:
Minimum of 5 years of paralegal experience in personal injury
Strong knowledge of legal terminology, procedures, and case management
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both English and Spanish
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment
Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities
