Help Build the Oops Social Community
Oops Social is looking for a bilingual Community Manager to help us grow our community and build genuine connections across Edmonton and beyond.
We’re looking for someone who is outgoing, creative, emotionally intelligent and passionate about people.
This isn’t just a social media job. You’ll be helping shape the Oops Social community, voice and experience as we continue to grow.
What You’ll Do
Manage and engage with the Oops Social community
Communicate with users in both English and French
Create and coordinate engaging social media content
Help develop community-building initiatives and campaigns
Execute email campaigns and manage audience communications
Respond to community questions, feedback and conversations
Help create a welcoming, positive and authentic environment for Oops users
Identify opportunities to increase engagement and grow the community
Work closely with the Oops Social team on campaigns, events and new initiatives
What We’re Looking For
Required:
Fluent in both English and French
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong empathy and emotional intelligence
Comfortable communicating with a wide range of people
Strong understanding of social media and online communities
Organized, reliable and able to work independently
Passion for authentic human connection
Experience in community management, social media, marketing, communications or a similar role is strongly preferred.
The Opportunity
This position starts at 20–30 hours per week with a flexible schedule and remote work options.
The wage will be based on experience, and there is genuine potential for the right person to grow into a full-time position as Oops Social continues to expand.
