Seeking an experienced Endoscopy Clinical Nurse Consultant to join our team on a full-time basis.
About the Role
The Day Surgery unit is a Day of Surgery admission Centre as well as a Day Surgery/ Endoscopy unit. There are 2 procedure rooms which are utilised primarily for endoscopy as well as minor plastics and urological procedures. The successful candidate will provide expert clinical leadership and support within the endoscopy department, develop and implement best practice protocols and guidelines, facilitate staff training and mentoring, drive quality improvement initiatives, ensure compliance with accreditation and regulatory requirements, collaborate within a multi-disciplinary team, and contribute to the planning and delivery of perioperative specialist nursing care.

Responsibilities
Provide expert clinical leadership and support within the endoscopy department.
Develop and implement best practice protocols and guidelines.
Facilitate staff training and mentoring.
Drive quality improvement initiatives.
Ensure compliance with accreditation and regulatory requirements.
Collaborate within a multi-disciplinary team.
Requirements
Authority to Work in Australia.
Working with Children check (if relevant).
Bachelor of Science (Nursing) or equivalent.
Current Registration (no restriction) with AHPRA.
Experienced in the theatre environment.
Extensive experience in endoscopy nursing and/or gastroenterology.
Strong knowledge of clinical governance, accreditation, and best practices.
Previous experience in clinical education and training.
