Chief Marketing Manager

About the Role

This is the senior-most marketing role in our India office. You'll own the entire media-engine

operation: the channel portfolio across the engine, the three senior leads (Video,

SEO/Organic, Social), the team of junior marketers, and the weekly P&L.; You report to the

Operations Manager. You also own the entire lead-funnel system and build, live-test, and

deploy the internal CMO platform in direct collaboration with the Engineering Manager.

What You'll Do

• Build the quarterly marketing strategy — channel portfolio direction, P&L; forecast,

team ramp plan — and present it to the founder for sign-off

• Own the P&L; for the entire media-engine operation — channel-by-channel revenue,

costs, and unit economics

• Set the weekly channel-mix direction across the three pods (Video, SEO/Organic,

Social)

• Coach and develop the 3 senior leads through weekly 1:1s and quarterly performance

reviews

• Approve channel-level spend decisions within the budget envelope set by the founder

• Hold the risk posture: account survival, zero policy strikes, zero claim-boundary

breaches

• Present a weekly P&L; summary to the founder

• Maintain equal weighting of attention across all sub-departments from day one —

nothing waits for another to finish; staged expansion of scope as each sub-department

earns the right to scale

What We're Looking For (Must-Have)

• 7-10 years in marketing leadership at an agency, D2C, or high-growth SaaS — founder

or ex-founder is a strong plus

• Demonstrated ability to build and run a multi-quarter marketing strategy end-to-end

(channel portfolio, P&L; forecast, team ramp plan)

• Has personally owned a P&L; for a marketing operation at significant scale

(multi-channel, multi-team)

• Has hired, managed, and developed senior marketing leads

• Has run a multi-channel portfolio

• AI-native in workflow: hands-on with GPT-4o / Claude, Midjourney, Runway,

ElevenLabs, Descript, n8n or Make

• Has worked in lean, fast-moving environments
