Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Line Cook/Prep Cook to join our dynamic culinary team. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing ingredients, cooking dishes, and ensuring the highest standards of food safety and quality. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food preparation, excellent kitchen skills, and experience working in a fast-paced restaurant environment. Responsibilities
Prepare ingredients and assist in meal preparation according to recipes and standards
Cook menu items efficiently while maintaining quality and presentation
Follow food safety guidelines and proper handling procedures at all times
Assist with food plating and garnishing to ensure attractive presentation
Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations, including sanitizing surfaces and equipment
Support the kitchen team during busy hours to ensure smooth service flow
Adhere to portion control standards and minimize waste
Assist with inventory management by rotating stock and notifying management of supplies needed
Requirements
Prior food service or restaurant experience preferred, especially in cooking or food preparation roles
Knowledge of food handling, safety protocols, and sanitation standards
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
Strong understanding of meal preparation techniques and kitchen operations
Excellent teamwork skills and ability to communicate effectively with kitchen staff
Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, or holidays as needed
Passion for the food industry with a commitment to delivering high-quality dishes

Pay: $17.00-$19.00 per hour
