Your opportunity:

The Category Manager – Indirect Procurement plays a key role within the Procurement Team, reporting to the Head of Indirect Procurement.

The Indirect Portfolio comprises a diverse range of spend categories, including Logistics, Facilities, Corporate Services, Marketing, and Customer Operations. This role requires strong commercial acumen and stakeholder engagement capabilities to drive value, ensure supplier performance, and support business objectives across a broad and dynamic procurement landscape.

This role is responsible for managing commercial engagements and delivering strategic value across TPG Telecom. You will collaborate with internal stakeholders to establish and maintain vendor relationships, ensuring alignment with TPG’s procurement policies and driving optimal business outcomes.

You will provide end-to-end procurement and commercial lifecycle support, influence stakeholders and aligning business needs with market capabilities. Procurement activities will span from sourcing strategic partners for large-scale initiatives to supporting smaller engagements across a variety of contracting models.

You'll make impact by:

Strategic Procurement Vendor Management

Leading vendor engagements in collaboration with business owners to maximize value.
Identifying and implementing cost reduction initiatives without compromising quality or scope.
Managing and leading RFx processes across multiple categories.
Conducting regular supplier reviews to ensure contractual compliance and resolve disputes.
Commercial Negotiation Lifecycle Support

Leading commercial negotiations, ensuring ethical and professional standards.
Providing expert advice on vendor lifecycle and contractual management.
Consolidating vendor base to leverage scale
Operational Excellence

Reviewing and approving purchase requisitions to ensure alignment with supplier agreements.
Promoting best practice procurement strategies across business units and spend categories.
Supporting procurement transformation initiatives and system improvements.
What you’ll bring:

Proven experience in stakeholder engagement and relationship management.
Strong background in procurement processes and policy compliance.
In-depth understanding of vendor lifecycle and strategic partnerships.
Demonstrated success in negotiating and managing complex supplier contract.
Commercially astute with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Track record of delivering cost savings through strategic sourcing.
Experience leading RFx processes and managing procurement projects.
Proficiency in ERP systems (Oracle).
Ideally, you will also have:

Telecommunications industry experience is desirable but not essential
Commercial Degree qualified or equivalent desirable.
