Cardiac Technician – Multi-Site Role

SmartCare Diagnostics

Locations: Springfield Lakes | Upper Mt Gravatt | North Lakes | Capalaba | Taringa

Full-Time Part-Time or Casual | Permanent Role

Monday to Friday | 8:00AM – 5:00PM (Occasional 5:30PM finish)

SmartCare Diagnostics is a modern, privately-owned full-service diagnostic clinic, offering cardiac, respiratory, and sleep testing services across Queensland. With established clinics in Springfield Lakes, Upper Mt Gravatt, North Lakes, Capalaba and Taringa — we are rapidly expanding.

Our collaborative team includes Emergency Physicians, Cardiologists, Respiratory Specialists, Sonographers, Nurses, and experienced administrative professionals. The Opportunity

We are seeking a Cardiac Technician to join our dedicated team, working across our sites. This is a flexible role suited to someone who enjoys variety, independence, and teamwork in a clinical setting.

Whether you are an experienced technician or a university student studying a medical or health science field, we welcome your application. Full training and support will be provided.

What You’ll Do

Collect clinical history and perform basic health assessments
Conduct ECGs and blood pressure monitoring
Fit and upload Holter monitors and ambulatory blood pressure devices
Analyse and review monitoring data under supervision
Assist in Exercise Stress Tests and other diagnostic procedures
Troubleshoot and coordinate equipment maintenance
Fit home-based sleep study devices
Ensure timely reporting to referring practitioners
What We’re Looking For

A qualified Cardiac Technician or a university student studying a Medical or Science-based course
Experience interpreting ECGs (highly regarded)
Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
Confident with using various software systems
Strong attention to detail and task ownership
A “can-do” attitude with initiative and a team-first mindset
Flexibility to work across multiple sites as needed
