As a BDE, you are responsible to consult the alumni coordinators, alumni associations, placement coordinators, IQAC Officers, Directors, and any person who is looking forward to building an alumni community for their institution.
A normal day as a BDE shall be as follows:
a) Attend requests for Consultations from institutions
b) Build plans and strategies for the institutions facing challenges in building alumni relations
c) Help the institutions with the right strategy, practices insights to build a thriving alumni community
d) Grow knowledge and expertise by following best practices in the industry across the globe
e) Facilitate the interested institutes towards subscribing to offerings of AlmaShines
f) Manage keep a track of Market Acquisition strategies and plans with the team
e) Maintain a healthy relationship with the alumni coordinators to help them achieve their objectives and overcome challenges
Though we would love to have people from all backgrounds and experiences for this role, the following points may help you get some preference:
a) Have been a part of the Alumni Relations Team
b) Have prior experience working with Academic Institutions
c) Have worked in SAAS Environment
d) Have fair experience in building relations with stakeholders
e) Have a good track record in Sales or Marketing
