Corrous Scaffolding Ltd is a fast-growing industrial scaffolding business operating as part of the Corrous Industrial Group — a multi-discipline asset integrity services group delivering industrial cleaning, protective coatings, asset inspection and scaffolding solutions to heavy industry and regulated environments across the UK.

Our client base spans the chemical, aviation, marine, fuel storage, manufacturing and infrastructure sectors. We hold ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 accreditations and are UVDB Silver registered and Avetta approved.

We are at an exciting stage of growth and are looking for a commercially minded Sales Executive to generate leads, open doors and drive revenue.

THE ROLE

This is an office-based business development position dedicated entirely to Corrous Scaffolding Ltd. Your job is straightforward — identify the right contacts within target clients, make contact and create the opportunity. Operating with full estimating and technical support,

You will carry out market research to identify new target accounts, prospect for new clients, build initial relationships with key decision-makers and generate a consistent flow of qualified leads and meetings for the leadership team to pursue and close. You will manage all activity through the company CRM system, ensuring the pipeline is always visible, accurate and up to date.

We want someone who is driven, organised and tenacious on the phone — someone who knows how to get through to the right person, make a strong first impression and hand over a warm opportunity.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Research and identify prospective clients for Corrous Scaffolding Ltd across target sectors including chemical, fuel storage, aviation, marine, manufacturing and infrastructure
Make outbound contact with key decision-makers via phone, email and LinkedIn to generate interest and create qualified leads
Book introductory meetings and calls between prospective clients and the Corrous leadership team to convert the opportunity
Log and maintain all prospect interactions, outreach activity and pipeline progress accurately within the company CRM system
Use CRM data to provide regular lead generation reports and pipeline updates to the management team
Develop an understanding of the Corrous Scaffolding offer to communicate it clearly and confidently at the initial contact stage
Monitor industry news, tender portals and sector activity to identify new prospects and opportunities
Achieve agreed targets for outbound activity, qualified leads generated and meetings booked
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

Proven experience in a telephone-based business development, lead generation or internal sales role
Confident, articulate and persuasive on the phone — able to engage decision-makers quickly and create genuine interest
Disciplined and methodical in the use of CRM software to manage activity, track prospects and report on pipeline
Highly organised with a structured approach to outreach and follow-up
Self-motivated and target-driven — comfortable working to KPIs and activity targets
Strong written communication skills for professional email outreach
DESIRABLE

Experience in scaffolding, industrial services, construction or a related sector
An existing network of contacts within chemical, fuel storage, aviation, marine or infrastructure sectors
Familiarity with LinkedIn Sales Navigator or similar prospecting tools
