Bookkeeper - Job Description
Record daily financial transactions accurately.
Maintain the general ledger and reconcile bank accounts.
Process accounts payable and accounts receivable.
Prepare and file GST returns.
Process payroll and maintain payroll records.
Prepare invoices and follow up on outstanding payments.
Maintain financial records using accounting software such as Xero or MYOB.
Assist accountants with month-end and year-end financial reporting.
Organize financial documents and ensure compliance with New Zealand tax and accounting requirements.
Communicate with clients regarding bookkeeping and financial records.
Typical skills
Knowledge of bookkeeping principles.
Experience with Xero, MYOB, or QuickBooks.
Good numerical accuracy and attention to detail.
Proficiency with Microsoft Excel.
Strong organizational and communication skills.
Pay: From $5,417.00 per month
