BMS Operator Required a Building Management System (BMS) Operator to monitors and controls facility infrastructure—such as HVAC, lighting, and security—to ensure safety, optimal performance, and energy efficiency. To analyze system data, respond to alarms, and perform routine maintenance and reporting. Key Duties and Responsibilities System Monitoring: Continuously monitor building services via the BMS workstation, including HVAC (chillers, AHUs, FCUs), electrical, plumbing, fire alarms, and CCTV. Equipment Control: Start/stop equipment, adjust setpoints for temperature/humidity, and automate scheduling for lighting and boilers. Alarm Management: Troubleshoot and resolve system faults, acknowledge alarms, and dispatch technicians for critical issues. Data Analysis & Maintenance: Generate trend-charts, analyze energy consumption, take database backups, and log operational metrics. Compliance & Reporting: Ensure operations comply with safety standards, document daily activities, and assist in planned preventive maintenance (PPM) schedules. Required Qualifications and Skills Education: A diploma in electrical engineering, HVAC, building automation, or an ITI technical certification is preferred. Experience: Typically requires 2 to 5+ years of relevant experience in facility management or building controls. Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of control theory, automatic temperature controls, and sensors. Software Skills: Proficiency with leading BMS software platforms like Honeywell , Siemens , Trane , or Schneider Electric .
