Bilingual Administrative & Community Engagement Assistant (English/Spanish Required)
Job Description
Hours: ~10 hours/week to start, with growth as enrollment increases
Compensation: $19–$21/hour + additional project‑based earnings during the first year
Location: In‑center, with some local community/event work
We are seeking a bilingual (English/Spanish) team member who is customer‑service‑oriented, enjoys working with families, and is excited to support our growing EFL program. This role blends administrative support, community outreach, and light academic assistance — with a strong emphasis on communication with Spanish‑speaking families.
Because this position includes translation, parent communication, and placement testing for Spanish‑speaking families, fluency in both English and Spanish is required.
Responsibilities include:
Greeting families and providing excellent customer service
Supporting local marketing efforts and community engagement
Assisting with enrollment, outreach events, and center communications
Administering placement tests for Spanish‑speaking families
Light grading and curriculum support
Maintaining organized records and assisting with daily center operations
Ideal candidates will:
Be fully fluent in English and Spanish (required)
Enjoy working with children and families
Communicate warmly, clearly, and professionally
Be comfortable with basic marketing tasks (social media, flyers, outreach, etc.)
Be organized, reliable, and proactive
Because we work with children, all team members age 18+ must pass a standard background check.
Compensation Note:
During the first year, this role includes additional project‑based earnings tied to enrollment growth, offering extra income opportunities as the program expands.
Pay: $19.00 - $21.00 per hour
Work Location: In person
