Summary
We are seeking a passionate Barista/Cafe Server to join our team at JK Bakery Cafe. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing and serving high-quality coffee beverages while ensuring an exceptional customer experience. Your contributions will help maintain our reputation for quality and service. As a family-owned business, we understand the importance of creating a supportive and nurturing work environment.
Responsibilities
Prepare and serve a variety of coffee drinks and beverages according to standard recipes.
Provide excellent customer service by greeting customers, taking orders, and addressing inquiries.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the café area, including equipment and utensils.
Ensure compliance with food safety standards and regulations during food preparation.
Assist with food preparation tasks as needed, and assembling orders.
Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently during checkout.
Manage time effectively to ensure timely service during peak hours.
Requirements
Previous experience as a Barista or in a similar role is preferred but not required.
Strong customer service skills with a friendly demeanor.
Basic math skills for handling transactions accurately.
Knowledge of food safety practices is essential.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively.
Flexibility to work mornings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
