Technical Writer – Product Documentation & Illustration (Remote, India)We're hiring a Technical Writer to work with a US consumer-products company, turning physical products into explicit, well-designed instruction manuals — the kind a customer can follow without ever calling support.WHAT YOU'LL DO- Write clear, simple English instructions, FAQs and assembly / how-to guides- Design and lay out manuals, assembly sheets and packaging artwork in InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop- Work from product samples and CAD / engineering drawings to document steps accurately- Assemble product samples yourself (e.g. storage / organization products) so instructions match reality- Standardize documentation across print and online, and improve it from user feedbackWHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR- 2–3 years in technical writing, technical illustration, product documentation or instructional design- Strong, native-level written English- Advanced Adobe InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop- Comfortable reading and interpreting CAD / engineering drawings (you don't need to design in CAD)- Bachelor's degree — Engineering, English, Communications, Journalism or a related field- Hands-on mindset and sharp attention to detailBonus: experience with consumer products, furniture, appliances or hardware manuals.Interested?
