Audio-Visual (AV) Technicians Installation Crew

Casual positions with near full time hours

The company is based in Smithfield, with AV services covering the entire Sydney Metro.

We hire, supply, install, service commercial grade audio-visual equipment to the corporate, educational, government and religious sectors.

We are looking for enthusiastic talented candidates who share our purpose of growing the business and makes customers satisfied with our AV services. Candidates that can collaboratively deliver improvement to the business and to the day to day operations. A motivated individual with a willingness to learn and expand your AV industry knowledge.

Part of the role as an Audio Visual Technician is to provide efficient, effective and timely delivery of hire, sales and installation services to small, medium and large organisations. We ensure to meet customer expectations, resolved AV issues onsite and deliver outstanding results.

You will have the opportunity to get hands on experience configuring, updating, and programming AV components in a live environment. Must effectively communicate to both customers and management to ensure that everyone is well informed on the progress of each Project.

Your responsibilities will include:

Set up Installation and commissioning of audio, video, projectors, and control systems.
Testing and maintenance coordination of all audio-visual equipment. Identify and resolve any concerns immediately.
Responding to and diagnosing AV issues, requests and deliver results.
Audio Visual Set- up as ordered and liaising with the client onsite ensuring delivery of AV services in timely and orderly manner.
Technical troubleshooting and problem-solving. Practical fault finding where applicable.
Will gain hands -on experience with Video conferencing, Live Streaming.
To succeed in this role, you will have:

Good understanding of audio-visual systems and Technically minded.
Experience working with a range of power tools.
Flexibility across operational hours including weekends, public holidays, early and late night events.
Good customer service with excellent communication skills and physically well presented.
Positive attitude, desire to learn and keen to develop AV career.
Experience of resolving customer complaints and making quick decisions to ensure happy customers and timely accurate services.
