CBA’s Global Markets division is at the forefront of financial markets, delivering trading and sales across Foreign Exchange, Commodities, Fixed Income, and Interest Rates.
Within this, the Markets Direct team plays a critical role supporting Business Banking clients with Foreign Exchange and deposit products. We make global markets accessible and easy to navigate—helping clients manage risk, optimise opportunities, and grow their businesses.
Do work that matters
As an Associate in our team, you’ll be a key contributor to delivering exceptional client outcomes. You’ll act as a first point of contact for FX-related enquiries and transactions, supporting both internal stakeholders and external customers across digital and voice channels.
This is a high-impact role where your ability to build relationships, deliver insights and drive client engagement will directly influence customer success.
Responsibilities include;
Building strong, collaborative relationships with internal sales teams and stakeholders
Acting as the first point of contact for FX and FX-linked product enquiries
Supporting Business Banking customers with FX transactions via electronic channels
Facilitating smooth onboarding and activation for clients with FX needs
Partnering with Bankers, Global Markets Specialists and Account Managers to deliver seamless customer experiences
Triaging FX leads and conducting needs-based assessments
Ensuring clients are aligned to the right pricing, service model and channel
Driving adoption, retention and usage of FX and payments solutions, especially across digital platforms
We’re interested in hearing from people who have
Experience in financial services or a related corporate environment
Demonstrated success in sales, portfolio growth or achieving revenue/service targets
A genuine interest in financial markets and FX products
Strong commercial acumen and excellent communication skills
A proactive, self-driven approach with a growth mindset
Proven ability to manage client relationships and deliver outcomes
A strong commitment to compliance, policies and risk management
