We're Hiring: Assistant Manager / HR Manager – CHSP Services
Location: Moonee Ponds, VIC
Hours: Full-time

Essential Care Victoria is a leading provider of aged care and disability services under CHSP and NDIS. We are currently seeking a highly organised and experienced Assistant Manager / HR Manager to join our team and help drive our growing organisation forward.

About the Role:

This is a dynamic leadership role supporting the smooth operation of our CHSP service delivery. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing day-to-day staffing operations including:

- Staff scheduling and rostering
- Overseeing and supporting department coordination
- Recruitment, onboarding and induction of staff
- General HR functions – performance management, staff records, compliance
- Coordinating with contractors and internal teams
- Supporting operational excellence across services
- Providing assistance to senior management as required

Key Responsibilities:

Lead the rostering and scheduling of support staff and contractors to ensure efficient service delivery
Oversee hiring processes, including advertising, interviewing, and onboarding
Implement and maintain HR policies and ensure compliance with relevant regulations
Support departmental managers to ensure effective coordination across the organisation
Handle staff queries and support resolution of workforce matters
Contribute to team leadership and continuous improvement
About You:

Proven experience in HR or assistant management roles, preferably in CHSP, aged care, or disability services
Excellent organisational and time management skills
Strong understanding of rostering systems and workforce coordination
People-first attitude with strong communication and leadership skills
Sound knowledge of Fair Work, HR compliance and employment legislation
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
