Job Title: Administrative Assistant – Retail Operations Support
Location: Remote
Work Hours: U.S. Night Shift (India Time)

Job Overview:
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to support the daily operations of U.S.-based grocery retail stores. This role involves close coordination with store teams, monitoring staff productivity, preparing operational reports, and maintaining documentation for audits and compliance. The ideal candidate will be well-organized, communicative, and capable of working independently during U.S. night hours.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Communication Coordination
Collaborate with store managers and internal teams remotely to resolve day-to-day operational and financial queries.
Communicate critical operational issues to management promptly and effectively.
2. Sales and Operations Reporting
Generate and submit daily operational reports including:
Daily customer count
Average sales per customer
Analyze basic trends in reports and flag unusual patterns or opportunities for improvement.
3. CCTV Monitoring
Periodically review store CCTV footage to assess:
Employee performance
Productivity and task adherence
Compliance with store rules and policies
Document and report any instances of misconduct or inefficiency.
4. Store-Level Administrative Coordination
Act as a remote liaison between headquarters and store staff to ensure smooth day-to-day functioning.
Support the resolution of shift scheduling issues, productivity concerns, or other administrative gaps at store level.
5. Documentation Audit Readiness
Maintain accurate and organized records for audit and compliance purposes.
Ensure operational and productivity-related documentation is updated and stored systematically.
6.. Payroll Assistance
Assist in processing payroll by validating timesheets, work hours, and overtime records.
Ensure employee attendance data is complete and accurate for timely payroll processing.
Flag discrepancies in work hours or pay structure to the management.
Required Skills Qualifications:
1+ years of experience in administrative roles (preferably in retail or operations support).
Strong communication and coordination skills.
Basic understanding of operational reports and productivity metrics.
Experience using tools like MS Excel, Google Sheets, or equivalent.
Familiarity with CCTV footage review practices is a plus.
Ability to work independently and handle tasks with minimal supervision.
Comfortable working in U.S. night shift hours (India time).
Experience in basic payroll support or data validation related to employee hours and compensation.
