Full job description
As the Administration Officer, you will provide high-level administrative support across multiple functional areas, facilitating the smooth operation of Biomedical Technology Services.

What you'll do

Provide high-quality, confidential administrative support across a range of business functions including but not limited to - processing of claims, staff travel booking, purchasing, accounts payable and receivable, inventory control, fleet and asset management, records management, preparing and distributing routine reports and general office duties.
Accurately manage data entry, reconciliation, compliance checking, documentation matching, and resolution of anomalies using internal systems (e.g., BTS Net Apps [BNA], AIMS, QIS) and Queensland Health's finance systems (e.g., S/4HANA) in a timely manner, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with relevant policies and standards.
Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders, responding to enquiries and complaints in a timely, professional manner, and escalating or redirecting requests as appropriate.
Coordinate the staging of meetings, functions, conferences and training activities. Includes generating agendas; collation and distribution of papers; recording, writing and distribution of minutes; and organising resources and catering.

Ability to undertake a range of administrative duties while balancing work priorities and meeting deadlines with minimal supervision.
Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team in a changing workplace.
Competence, efficiency and attention to detail in the use of computers and contemporary software packages, including keyboard skills, word processing, spreadsheets and databases.
Ability to communicate and liaise effectively with internal and external clients, including the ability to respond effectively to enquiries either in person, by telephone, or through written correspondence.
