Full job description
The School of Medical and Health Sciences at Edith Cowan University (ECU) is looking for an experienced administrator. This role is responsible for providing policy analysis, quality assurance, and administrative support to the Executive Dean, Associate Deans, and Operations Manager of the School of Medical and Health Sciences in course accreditations. This role combines coordination responsibilities with critical auditing functions to ensure our academic programs meet and exceed accreditation standards.

The Accreditations Quality Adviser will be responsible for maintaining the School professional accreditation and major course review databases, liaising with external accrediting bodies and internal accreditation teams, and the Quality Academic Governance unit, contributing to submissions, collating and analysing evidence, record-keeping, organisation of site visits, and other administrative support as required.

The successful applicant will demonstrate a high level of administrative skills with attention to detail and the ability to critically evaluate evidence to determine whether it meets the required standards for accreditation. Strong interpersonal skills are vital, with a proven ability to develop excellent relationships with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

Demonstrated experience in quality assurance, auditing, or compliance monitoring with strong analytical abilities to critically evaluate complex information and evidence;
Exceptional attention to detail and advanced administrative/organisational capabilities, including proficiency in database management and reporting systems;
Excellent stakeholder relationship management skills with ability to develop strong working relationships across diverse internal and external groups;
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with ability to present complex accreditation information clearly to diverse audiences and maintain confidentiality of sensitive documentation;
Self-motivated professional who thrives in busy, complex environments with proven ability to work autonomously while meeting strict deadlines;
Demonstrated capacity to work collaboratively within teams while maintaining independent judgment and decision-making abilities;
Strong problem-solving skills with proactive approach to identifying compliance gaps and recommending solutions while maintaining high professional standards;
Demonstrated high level of skills in using standard software and database packages, including MS Word, Excel, Access, Outlook and Adobe Pro in particular document formatting and collation;
Experience with coordinating events (room bookings, catering, scheduling etc);

This full-time ongoing position attracts remuneration of $100,512 - $112,622 per annum plus 17% superannuation.
