Holiday Camp Lead - calling all Experienced Teachers

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Camp Leader to oversee and inspire a group of children during our holiday camp programme. The ideal candidate will possess strong management and leadership skills, along with a passion for working with children. This role requires effective communication and the ability to create a safe, engaging, and fun environment for all campers.

Duties

Lead and supervise daily camp activities, ensuring that all children are engaged and participating.
Develop and implement age-appropriate programmes that promote learning, creativity, and teamwork.
Foster a positive atmosphere by encouraging respect, cooperation, and inclusivity among campers.
Ensure the safety and well-being of all children in your care, adhering to health and safety regulations.
Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding their child’s progress and any concerns that may arise.
Collaborate with other staff members to coordinate schedules, activities, and special events.
Maintain accurate records of attendance, incidents, and other relevant documentation.
Provide guidance and support to junior staff or volunteers as needed.
Requirements

Proven experience in management or leadership roles, particularly in childcare settings.
Experience working with children in a nursery or early childhood education environment is highly desirable.
Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
Ability to drive is an advantage for transporting children or supplies as required.
A genuine passion for working with children and fostering their development through engaging activities.
Ability to remain calm under pressure while managing multiple tasks effectively.
