Job Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in financial management and accounting practices, with proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks, and Sage. This role is essential for maintaining accurate financial records, ensuring compliance with regulations, and providing insightful financial analysis to support business decisions.

Duties

Prepare and maintain financial statements, reports, and budgets.
Manage accounts payable and receivable processes to ensure timely payments and collections
Provide mentorship and guidance to junior finance staff as needed.
Monitor financial performance by analysing variances from budgets and forecasts.
Qualifications

Proven experience in financial accounting or a similar role within the financial services sector.
Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
Proficiency in accounting software , Sage, is highly desirable.
Excellent analytical skills with a keen attention to detail.
Ability to mentor junior staff members effectively.
Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred but not essential.
