Key Responsibilities:
• Oversee daily operations of the finance accounting department including
• Cash receipts payments
• Revenue recognition accounting
• General ledger
• Payroll utilities
• Expense planning and management
• Budget preparation variance analysis
• Assets reconciliation Monitor analyze financial data and produce financial reports statements (including PL, balance sheet, and cash flows)
• Treasury operations, including weekends
• Establish and enforce proper expense policies and principles
• Coordinate and complete annual audits
• Establish and maintain fiscal files and records to document transactions
• Ensure adherence to regulatory dictates while fostering business growth
• Support CEO and CFO in fundraising activities as required
Requirements:
• Over 5 years' experience as accounting manager, accounting supervisor, controller, or treasury manager
• Proven knowledge of bookkeeping and accounting principles, practices, standards, laws, and regulations
• In-depth knowledge of payment operations and digital payment processing expertise
• Fully certified Chartered Accountant
• Ability to manage relationships internally and externally with key stakeholders and partners
• Willingness to work in an early-stage company
• Financial services / payments industry background preferred
• Must be an 'owner entrepreneur' in deploying company resources
