Senior Software Quality Assurance Engineer- Banking

Role Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Software Quality Assurance Engineer to join our global team. As a key member of our organization, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the highest quality software solutions for our clients.

Key Responsibilities:
• Analyze business, functional, and technical requirements for new features and enhancements.
• Develop high-quality test plans, test cases, and execute them.
• Document and track test cases, create traceability matrices, and develop test strategies.
• Perform product testing, including web testing and database testing.
• Design, write, execute, and maintain test cases for multiple products.
• Conduct system, integration, and regression testing.
• Identify, document, and report defects with severity and priority.
• Mentor and train new hires, and conduct product functionality walkthroughs for stakeholders.
• Prepare training manuals and user guides.
Requirements:
• Degree in IT, Computer Science, or related fields.
• Strong understanding of software testing concepts, STLC, SDLC, and bug life cycle.
• Ability to work independently and provide regular status updates to stakeholders.
• 5+ years of experience in software quality assurance, with a focus on loan origination systems (LOS) or loan management systems.
• Proven understanding of end-to-end loan lifecycle processes.
• Experience testing core banking systems, LOS, or loan servicing platforms.
• Validate complex business rules and calculations.
• Experience with Jira, ALM, Azure DevOps Build is preferable.
• Strong skills in test planning, test case design, execution, and defect management.
• Working knowledge of API testing and ability to validate loan workflows across integrated systems.
• Hands-on experience with automation tools like Selenium, Cypress, or similar frameworks is a strong plus.
• Familiarity with compliance and regulatory requirements in consumer or commercial lending.
• Strong communication skills to collaborate with product managers, developers, and business analysts.
• Ability to work in an Agile/Scrum environment, including active participation in sprint planning and retrospectives.Detail-oriented mindset with a proactive approach to identifying risks and ensuring product quality.
• Microsoft Dynamics CRM applications testing is preferable.
