About us

Wests Group Macarthur is the leading dining and entertainment provider in Macarthur with venues including Wests League Club, Country Club Gledswood Hills, Lakeside Golf Club Camden, the newly opened The Sherwood Macarthur and another exciting venue on the way soon.



We are looking for a designer who loves creating engaging creative assets and has a keen eye for detail to join our in-house marketing team. Reporting to the Group Marketing Communications Manager you will work in conjunction with the team as well as a dedicated creative agency and will be responsible for the creative execution of a wide range of projects including brand, signage, merchandising, promotional, and digital assets.

The ideal applicant is an upbeat, enthusiastic, resilient multi-tasker who can think outside the box, expresses themselves creatively and is also a strong communicator.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and create graphic design elements for marketing and promotional campaigns, including printed assets, advertising, email marketing, digital content, social media channels (including Instagram stories posts), and merchandising and signage solutions
Develop and maintain formal style guides for each venue and ensure all specifications across channels are up to date for all stakeholders
Act as a brand custodian at photoshoots alongside the Marketing team
Prepare artwork files for in-house printing and/or external printers as required
Adhere to our brand guidelines to ensure a consistent visual identity across all mediums
Manage the updating of internal CMS platforms including screens, digital displays, and printed assets
Assist in general asset and content development through photography, photoshop, animation, and editing
The successful applicant will have:

Relevant tertiary qualifications
2+ years working experience. Hospitality Retail industry design experience is highly regarded
High attention to detail, with a solid understanding of design principles, typography and layout
Advanced skills in Adobe Software (Indesign, Illustrator Photoshop, Lightroom)
Proficient Microsoft Office skills including PowerPoint
Experience with Graphic Design for marketing platforms including WordPress, Talkbox (or Mailchimp) as well as digital LED screens
Experience in photography, videography, and video editing highly regarded
Experience with creating graphics for social media including Facebook Instagram stories, Tik Tok etc highly regarded
Experience developing and maintaining brand style guides
The ability to follow direction and meet deadlines
The ability to stay on top of industry trends, image libraries and to think outside box a must!
Flexibility to handle a fast-paced environment with rapidly changing priorities and short deadlines
Current driver’s licence
