1:1 Primary Teaching Assistant Specification
The school are looking for a passionate graduate who has experience working with Primary aged children and a strong academic record with a 2:2 or above in their chosen discipline. You will be able to set high aspirations as a 1:1 Primary Teaching Assistant and become a role model. We want to meet graduates who can demonstrate a passion for working with children with SEN that sees them progress their educational and social needs.

About the 1:1 Primary Teaching Assistant Role
In this 1:1 Primary Teaching Assistant position you will be supporting two students with Autism, one who shows challenging behaviour in general classes and another who is very reserved and uncomfortable with social situations. You will need to be empathetic to students and create sessions appropriate to help them understand what is taught in mainstream based lessons in an engaging way.
