Youth Football Team Manager & Coach
Job Description
Supreme Academy is a growing grassroots football organisation providing coaching, player development and competitive football opportunities for young players across multiple locations.
We are looking for an enthusiastic and reliable coach to take ownership of one of our Bedford-based teams ahead of the 2026/27 season.
The Role
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and coaching a youth football team, creating a positive environment where players can develop both on and off the pitch.
Responsibilities include:
Planning and delivering weekly training sessions
Managing the team on matchdays
Supporting player development and progression
Communicating effectively with parents and club staff
Promoting high standards of behaviour, respect and sportsmanship
Assisting with player recruitment and retention where required
Ensuring compliance with FA safeguarding and welfare requirements
Requirements
Essential:
FA Introduction to Coaching Football (or equivalent)
Valid Enhanced DBS Certificate (or be willing to undergo a check)
Experience coaching children in a football environment
Strong communication and organisational skills
Reliable and professional approach
Desirable:
UEFA C qualification
Experience managing a grassroots youth team
Experience working within league football
Vaild UK Driving Licence
Own or have access to a car
