About Us
Paws and Poses offers unique wellness events that combine yoga/pilates with playful puppy cuddles. We partner with local breeders and rescues to create joyful experiences that support physical health, mental wellbeing, and animal socialisation. We're a small business with a big heart, and we're looking for passionate, reliable people to grow with us.

Position Overview
As a Puppy Yoga Instructor, you’ll be the heart of our classes — leading fun, beginner-friendly yoga flows while creating a warm, inclusive, and uplifting atmosphere. Our events are about connection, mindfulness, and joy, so while you’ll be guiding yoga, you’ll also be comfortable with the playful interruptions that come from having adorable puppies in the room.
You must be adaptable, confident leading groups of all abilities, and passionate about creating a memorable experience for every participant. Weekend availability is essential, as most of our events are held on Saturdays and Sundays.
Key Responsibilities
Yoga Instruction
Lead beginner-friendly yoga sessions with a focus on gentle movement, relaxation, and mindfulness.
Adapt to an interactive, puppy-filled environment where participants may be distracted.
Ensure safe, accessible modifications for guests of varying experience levels.
Guest Experience
Create a welcoming and inclusive environment for all attendees.
Introduce the session, set the tone, and close the class on a high note.
Work alongside event assistants to ensure a smooth session flow.
Event Support
May be needed to arrive early to help set up and prepare the space (yoga mats, music, atmosphere). Usually our events team will handle this.
Collaborate with the Paws and Poses team to maintain a safe environment for both guests and puppies.
About You
Certified Yoga Instructor (minimum 200-hour training).
Confident, friendly, and adaptable teaching style.
Comfortable working around animals and flexible with class flow.
Reliable, punctual, and professional.
Weekend availability is essential.
Previous experience in event-based or non-traditional yoga settings is a plus
Ability to work from different venues in Wollongong

Pay: $35.00 – $71.28 per hour
