Role Description The Day Care Teacher at Ipsaa in Jaipur will create a warm, inclusive, and safe environment for children through structured routines and play-based learning. Responsibilities include planning and conducting daily activities that promote cognitive, social, emotional, and physical development, such as storytelling, art, music, and outdoor play. The role involves supervising children at all times, supporting positive behavior, and ensuring hygiene, safety, and well-being in the classroom and common areas. The Day Care Teacher will communicate regularly with parents and caregivers about children’s progress and any concerns, and will collaborate with colleagues and coordinators to maintain consistent program standards. This is a full-time, on-site role based at the Ipsaa center in Jaipur.
Qualifications
Experience in early childhood care and education, preferably in day care, preschool, or similar child-centered settings.
Strong child engagement skills, including the ability to plan age-appropriate activities and manage small groups effectively.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work collaboratively with children, families, and team members.
Demonstrated ability to maintain a safe, clean, and organized learning environment while following health and safety guidelines.
Patience, empathy, and a caring attitude toward children from diverse backgrounds.
Basic record-keeping skills for attendance, observations, and reporting to supervisors and families.
Relevant certification or diploma in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or a related field is preferred.
