Wedding Planner and Coordinator
Overview
We're looking for Gems.
The Pendennis Weddings and Events team is driven by excellence. Our work can be stressful, is often chaotic, and it's a lot of fun! If you want to work in a place that will challenge you and require the best from you, we'd love for you to join us. Each of us does anything and everything to serve our guests, from bringing the party to cleaning the toilets. Everyone (including our CEO) has cleaned up vomit, and we are equally proud of our sophisticated event execution as we are of our can-do attitude. If you want to join our team, we promise it'll be fun, lots of work, and an incredible chance to grow and learn.
Regardless of the role you fill on the team, we have some things that make us unique:
1. We expect our team to give us feedback, and we listen. After every event, we expect everyone who worked the event to give us feedback from their perspective. In order to be excellent, we have to listen to those who are there and work to improve.
2. We expect our team to take feedback, often directly, and in the moment. Events aren't about our own egos, but about the client experience. Making sure we are doing our best means recognizing gaps and fixing them as soon as possible.
3. We work really really hard and we love it. No slackers here!
Job Title: Wedding and Events Coordinator
Location: The Pendennis Weddings and Events, [Location]
Position Type: Full-time
Hours: Up to 12 Hours shifts on event days, often working events on evenings and weekends. Otherwise, flexible schedule on non-event days. Admin required outside of event days.
