Wedding MC, Day-of Coordinator & Setup Assistant
We’re looking for a reliable, organized, and outgoing person to help with our wedding on September 19, 2026. This is a combined MC + day-of coordinator + setup role.
The ideal person will help keep the day running smoothly, make announcements and guide guests, and handle setup and small tasks so the couple can focus on enjoying the wedding.
Responsibilities
MC / Emcee
Make announcements and help guide guests through the wedding program
Introduce key moments such as the ceremony, dinner, speeches, games, and other activities
Keep the event on schedule and help maintain a fun, welcoming atmosphere
Coordinate with the couple, vendors, and venue throughout the day
Day-of Coordinator
Act as the couple’s main go-to person throughout the wedding
Keep track of the schedule and timing
Coordinate with vendors and helpers
Handle small last-minute questions, issues, and requests
Help coordinate the transition from the ceremony to the dinner reception
Make sure everything is where it needs to be and the day stays on track
Setup & Logistics
Set up chairs, tables, decorations, flowers, signage, and other miscellaneous items for the ceremony and reception
Pick up floral arrangements from Cream Mint Florist and transport them to the wedding
Help arrange and prepare the ceremony and reception areas
Direct other helpers during setup when needed
Assist with moving or rearranging items between the ceremony and reception
Ideal Candidate
Outgoing and comfortable speaking in front of a crowd
Organized, dependable, and proactive
Comfortable taking initiative and making decisions
Friendly and confident communicating with vendors and guests
Able to stay calm and flexible when things don't go exactly as planned
Comfortable with physical setup, including moving chairs, tables, and decorations
Previous MC, event, or wedding experience is preferred but not required

Position: Wedding MC + Day-of Coordinator + Setup
Type: One-day event
